GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence softball program heads to Salem, Ore. for the Cascade Collegiate Conference opener against Corban University. UP will play at 2:00 p.m. (MST) and 4:00 p.m. (MST) on Friday, and Noon (MST) and 2:00 p.m. (MST) on Saturday.

Last Time Out
The Argos went 2-2 at the Bubble Invite defeating Minnesota State Moorhead 7-5 and the University of Mary 6-5. Freshman Tehneson Ehnes led the way batting .500 at the plate and sophomore Kasidy Yeoman picked up her first career win throwing all seven innings and striking out three.

Season Leaders
Junior Tiffany Fuentes and freshman Tehneson Ehnes are the Argos leading hitters thus far batting .545 and .500, respectively. Sophomore Kasidy Yeoman has been the biggest run producer for UP driving in four runs so far this season and sophomore Ashley Mitchell has been the anchor on the mound totaling 13 innings with an ERA of 4.31.

Corban University
The Warriors are 0-9 so far this season and are coming off a pair of losses to George Fox University their last time out. The Argos are 8-2 in their last 10 matchups versus Corban University including their four-game sweep in Helena last season.
