HELENA, Mont. – The University of Providence track and field teams the Frontier Conference Championships throughout the day Sunday.
Senior
Tatiana Martinez was the highlight for the Argos taking first place and winning her third career Conference Championship with a distance of 45.38m.
The Argos also had five others earn all-conference accolades in junior
Shelbey Klein, freshman
Lauren Cima, junior
Avari Batt, junior
Adam Cearley, and sophomore
Kylie Henderson.
With a sweep of the discus Cima threw 42.16m to finish in second and Batt threw 40.45m to finish in third. On the men's side, Cearley threw 44.47m to finish in third.
Klein placed third in the Javelin at 38.94m and Henderson placed second in the Pole Vault at 2.90m.
The Argos will be back in action Monday, May 5 when they head to Helena for the remainder of the Frontier Conference Championships.
