BOZEMAN, Mont. – The University of Providence indoor track and field teams competed at Big Sky Tuner throughout the day Thursday.
The Argos had a few highlights on Thursday in sophomore
Lauren Cima and senior
Josh Golemon.
Cima set a new school record for the third time this season in the Shot Put with a throw of 14.57 and qualified her at A Standard for the NAIA Indoor National Championships.
Golemon also set a new school record on Thursday with a throw of 17.82m in the Weight Throw which qualified him at B Standard for the NAIA Indoor National Championships.
The Argos also had three athletes place in the top three at the Big Sky Tuner in sophomore
Tristan Lewandowski,
Bria Henry, and freshman
Shaun Youngblood. Lewandowski placed second in the 60M hurdles, Henry placed third in the Weight Throw, and Youngblood had the top mark in the Triple Jump at 13.41m.
Cima and Golemon will be back in action on March 5-7 when they head to Gainesville, Fla. for the NAIA Indoor National Championships at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center at Celebration Pointe.
