GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence outdoor track and field program heads to Lockwood, Mont. for the Yellowjacket Open. Athletes are scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. (MST) at Lockwood High School.
Last Time Out
The Argos sent two-athletes to the NAIA Indoor National Championships in sophomore
Lauren Cima and senior
Josh Golemon. Cima earned All-American status in the Shot Put and broke her own school record for the fourth time.
Returners
The Argos return four National Qualifiers and two All-Americans from the 2024-2025 season in seniors
Shelbey Klein,
Josh Golemon, and sophomores
Lauren Cima and
Havyn Vandenacre. Klein and Cima earned All-American status in the Javelin, and Shot Put, respectively while Vandenacre and Golemon qualified in the Javelin and Shot Put.

Yellowjacket Open
The Yellowjacket Open will begin with the hammer throw at 9:00 a.m. and will finish with the 4x400 relay at 5:10 p.m. The Argos had a few highlights at the Yellowjacket Open in 2025 when sophomore
Brooklyn Ludemann broke the school record in the 100M and sophomore
Lauren Cima qualified at B Standard in the discus for the NAIA National Championships.
