Three Argos Place First at Winter Series II

BOZEMAN, Mont. – The University of Providence indoor track and field teams competed at Montana Tech Winter Series on Saturday.  

The Argos had a few highlights in sophomore Lauren Cima and freshman Kyler Harris and Shaun Youngblood.  

Cima placed first in the Shot Put with a throw of 13.93 which broke her own school record and qualified her at B Standard for the NAIA Indoor National Championships.

Youngblood placed first in the triple jump at 13.50m, and Harris placed first in the 3000M with a time of 8:59.22.

Sophomore Tristan Lewandowski was also a highlight on Saturday breaking his own school reord in the 60M hurdles at 8.83. 

The Argos will be back in action on Thursday, Feb. 19 for the Big Sky Tuner. Athletes will be competing throughout the day at the Kennedy-Stark Athletic Center in Bozeman, Mont.
