HELENA, Mont. – After leading the Argos to a 4-0 weekend at the CSM Labor Day Classic, senior
Bella Thompson and junior
Cabry Taylor have earned Frontier Conference Player of the Week awards.
Thompson is a setter from Kapahulu, Oahu and totaled 138 assists to average 10.62 assists per set over the weekend. Thompson tallied 50 assists and 11 digs in the Argos 3-2 victory over #8 IU Kokomo and averaged 2.31 digs per set over the weekend. Â Â Â
This is Thompson's first setter of the week award this season and 12
th of her career after taking home the award nine times last season. Thompson currently leads the Frontier Conference in total assists with 235 and is third in assists per set with 9.79.

Arunas Duda on Thompson stated, "Bella did some things this weekend that were flat out special. Her athleticism is unbelievable, and she helped run our offense to a 4-0 weekend. She was locked in and worked really hard, very proud of her!"
Taylor is a middle-blocker from White Sulphur Springs, Mont. and totaled 23 blocks to average 1.64 blocks per set over the weekend. Taylor also tallied 47 kills to average 3.36 per set while hitting .471 including a career high 20 kills in the Argos five-set victory over #8 IU Kokomo.
This is Taylor's first Defender of the Week award this season and second of her career after earning the NAIA Defender of the Week award last season. Taylor currently leads the Frontier Conference in both total blocks with 36 and blocks per set with 1.44.

Arunas Duda on Taylor's performance stated, "Cabry had an incredible weekend both offensively and defensively. She was a wall up there and the ones she didn't block she either channeled the hitter right to our defense or forced them into some uncomfortable situations. She was a game changer and I'm so impressed by her development!"
The Argos will be back in action Friday, Sept. 5 when they travel to Helena, Mont. for the Frontier Conference Opener against Carroll College at 7:00 p.m.Â
