GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence indoor track and field program heads to Gainesville, Fla. for the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships.
Competitors
Sophomore
Lauren Cima set a new school record for the third time this season in the Shot Put with a throw of 14.57 to punch her ticket to the NAIA Indoor National Championships. Cima currently sits at the #3 farthest throw in the NAIA so far this season.
Senior
Josh Golemon also set a new school record with a throw of 17.82m in the Weight Throw which qualified him at B Standard for the NAIA Indoor National Championships. This will be the first time Golemon has qualified for the NAIA Indoor National Championships.

NAIA National Championships
The NAIA National Championships takes place in Gainesville, Fla. at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center at Celebration Pointe on March 5-7. Golemon will compete on Friday at 1:00 p.m. (MST) in the weight throw and Cima will compete on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. (MST) in the Shot Put.
