GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence softball program head to Iowa for a pair of Frontier Conference double-headers. Due to inclement weather in Madison, S.D., the Argos will face Dakota State at the American State Bank Sports Complex in Sioux Center, Iowa on Thursday and Friday.

Last Time Out
The Argos swept Bismarck State College to move into a tie for first place in the Frontier Conference. Sophomore Madison Moultray threw 10 scoreless innings and picked up all four wins on the mound for UP. 
 
Stat Leaders
Junior Kasidy Yeoman is the Argos leading hitters thus far batting .490 which is the 11^th  best in the entire NAIA and leads the Frontier Conference. Juniors Erin Bishop and Tehneson Ehnes have been the biggest run producers for UP driving in 30 and 29 runs so far this season which is first and second in the Frontier Conference. On the mound junior Ashley Mitchell and Moultray have led the way throwing 59.2 and 52.2 innings, respectively.
 
Dakota State
The Trojans are 8-20 so far this season and are coming off a 1-1 split versus Bellevue University their last time out. The Argos are 2-0 in their history versus Dakota State defeating the Trojans 5-0 in Jamestown, N.D. on 5/3/2014 in their most recent matchup.
