Great Falls, Mont. - University of Providence Men's Hockey team (8-5) skated past Utah Valley University Friday night. The Argos put 12 unanswered goals in the net to dominate the match at the Great Falls Ice Complex. Seven Argos scored, Reed Link, Mikey Welsh, Gabriel Kwiatkowski, Frankie Torrez and Cooper Page scored twice in the contest. Not one, but two players, had Hat Tricks (scoring 3 goals in the game). Kyler Mack put in 3 goals as did Jakob Stevenson. Each were quick to recognize their teammates for putting them in the right place to scores those goals.
Coach Jeff Heimel liked how the team controlled the match. "We were much better making choices when we possessed the puck. It was something we struggled with last week." Coach congratulated Michael Welch saying, "Michael Welsh scored his first goal ever as an Argo and we are happy that happened." Argos started scoring early in the contest and never looked back, finishing the match with a 12-0 shutout.
