GREAT FALLS, Mont.- University of Providence athletic programs continue to add more student athletes to the school. The Argo softball team added one of the best catchers in the state just before the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Great Falls CMR senior Kiely Gunderson signed with head coach Joey Egan and the Argos Tuesday afternoon. Kiely batted .317 and led the Rustlers in runs last spring.

Kiely had a great support group at her signing including CMR new head coach, Alex Lowry, who also happens to be a former Rustler and Argo great.

"I know Alex Lowry used to go here and has talked it up," Gunderson said. "It made me realize how good the program is. I've gone to a few games and I love the girls. It's an all-around a good program."

Head coach Joey Egan is excited to have a local athlete come and play on her team. "I love the fact we are drawing wonderful talent right here in our backyard. We will expect to see Kiely in the lineup and making an impact on our team immediately."
