LOGAN, Utah – No. 17 Argo Hockey couldn't sustain No. 9 Brigham Young Cougars offensive firepower as they fell in the Mountain West Tournament semifinals on Friday evening, 5-2.
Leo Felt scored both of the Argo's goals in the contest.
The Cougars got things early as they tallied their first two goals through eight minutes of play.
Leo Felt got things going with four minutes to play in the opening period as he corralled a loose puck from the blue line made a cross from the right to score unassisted on the left side of the net, 2-1.
BYU tallied the only goal of the second-period to retake a two-point advantage headed into the final 20 minutes, 3-1.
Eight minutes into the final period, the Cougars pushed their lead to three as they netted on a cross pass.

Hunter Borst and beating the goalie with the shot at the nine-minute mark, 4-2.
The Cougars sent a puck from their own goal line to net the final score of the of the match and seal BYU's three-point victory, 5-2.
