Melba High's Oldham Signs with Argo Track and Field

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Argo track and field head coach Bill Brist announces the addition of thrower Emily Oldham to the Argos' 2019-20 roster.

Oldham, a native of Kuna, Idaho, joins the Argos following her career at Melba Jr. and Sr. High School in Melba, Idaho. Through her junior year as a Mustang, Oldham qualified and placed her sophomore and junior seasons in Class 2A at state. She will compete in the shot put, discus, hammer, and weight throw as an Argo. Oldham also plans to pursue a degree in Exercise Science at the University of Providence.

"Emily has an unparalleled work ethic, always wanting to jump back in the throwing circle and work some more. Her desire and drive will allow her to fit extremely well within our throws family that we have here at the University of Providence," expressed assistant coach Alan Cress. "She also approaches her academic career with the same work ethic and drive as her athletic pursuits. Those uncoachables are what will make her an outstanding student-athlete both on the field and in the classroom for us here at Providence."
