GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Argo men's hockey head coach
Jeff Heimel announced the signing of Will Wright from Apple Valley High School to the 2019-20 roster.
Wright, a native of the Twin Cities, graduated from Apple Valley High School in 2018. He will transfer to the University of Providence following a year of schooling in community college. As an Eagle, Wright was his team's leading scorer, leading in points both his junior and senior seasons. As a junior, Wright scored six goals and dished out 12 assists, while the following season he upped his game to tally double-digits in both goals and assists during his senior season with 11 and 16, respectively.
"I have known Will for several years now and he is an outstanding individual. He will continue to add forward depth in our line-up and has shown he can produce at the highest level," expressed coach Heimel. "On top of that as a transfer student, he is coming off a strong year academically and we look forward to his contributions in the classroom."
