GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's hockey team announced the signing of Liam Carvalho Thursday afternoon.
Carvalho is from Monarch High School in Boulder, Colo. As a senior, he scored 19 goals (the most on his team) and also recorded 15 assists. He was named 2
nd Team All-Conference and named to Team Colorado for America's Showcase. He led his team to a 2
nd Place finish at Nationals, and as a junior he led his team to a Colorado State Championship.
"We are thrilled to have Liam joining our team at an exciting time in our program," head coach
Jeff Heimel said. "Not only will he add to a growing culture of excellence on the ice, but also in the classroom and the community."
Carvalho was named Academic All-State both his junior and senior year and was named to the Dean's List all four years. Carvalho plans to study medical biology at Providence.
