WHITEFISH, Mont. – The awards keep piling for the #5 University of Providence volleyball team.

After winning the Frontier Conference Tournament Championship over the weekend, three Argo players were named the Erck Hotels Frontier Conference Players of the Week. Cydney Finberg-Roberts was named the Setter of the Week, Sacha Legros was named the Defender of the Week and Sadie Lott was named the Attacker of the Week.

"I'm so excited for them," Duda said. "The accolades keep coming which is so exciting for the players. They all deserve it in my mind. They've done such a great job this year in every aspect. They've held their composure throughout all these tough situations. It's one more award for them which is awesome."

Finberg-Roberts, who was named the Conference Player of the Year for the second season in a row on Sunday, was named the Conference Setter of the Week for the seventh time on the season. She put up ridiculous stats during the tournament, recording 38 assists in the semifinal against Rocky Mountain and 40 assists in the championship against Carroll. For the tournament, Finberg-Roberts averaged 13 assists per set.

"Fin was distributing the ball so well," Duda said. "She knows what to run and played lights out this weekend. The numbers she put up this weekend were insane."

Legros, who was named 1st Team All-Conference for the second straight season on Sunday, was named the Defender of the Week for the second time this season. Legros was all over the floor during the tournament, recording 33 digs against Rocky Mountain and 18 against Carroll. She also brought a business-like focus that spread to the rest of her teammates.

"We saw it during the week in practice," Duda said. "It was just laser-focus from her. Every ball was perfect off her platform and that started early on in the week and carried throughout the weekend."

Lott, who was also named 1st Team All-Conference for the second straight season, was named the Attacker of the Week for the second time this season. The freshman middle-blocker also had an impressive showing at the conference tournament, leading the team in kills in both game. She recorded 16 kills against the Battlin' Bears and 11 against Carroll, and had a hitting percentage over .330 in both games.

"She just has this will to not give up, to not quit and to find any way to make it happen," Duda said. "She took some big swings for us this weekend. When the score started to get close we went to Sadie and she delivered. She had a fantastic weekend both in the front row and the back row."

Fans will get one last chance to see the three of them in person on Saturday, when the Argos host Florida College in the 2021 NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship Opening Round. The game will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.

"We have a big week," Duda said. "I'm hoping those three come out today during practice and show that leadership. We're going to push them pretty hard this week. We want to see that response and we want to see them get going. I expect nothing but the best from them. I know they'll be poised and ready to go for one more run."
