RENO, Nev. – KC Buday finished in fourth place at the 2021 Dollamur Reno Tournament of Champions, defeating two NCAA Division I wrestlers in the process.

Buday started the day strong, recording a pin in just 38 seconds over Hunter Atagi (Pacific). He then defeated Austin Harris (Oklahoma State) by a 7-2 decision before beating Peter Ming (Stanford) 4-2 to advance to the semifinals. Buday lost to Sam Aguilar (California Poly) 13-6 before losing 19-5 to Trevor Tinker to solidify his fourth place standing.

As a team, the Argos finished in 17^th place at the tournament, with 23.5 total points.

The team will have a lengthy break before taking the mat again against Iowa State on Jan. 16 in Belgrade, Mont. Tickets can be bought here.
