Corvallis, Ore. - Three members of the University of Providence men's soccer team and one from the Argo women's team were named to the Cascade Conference All-Conference team released Monday.

Tomeu Nebot was named to the 2nd team, while Jesus Pulido and Mika Lankhof were named Honorable Mention. Nebot scored two goals with four assists in 2022. Pulido was a steady presence defensively, also adding a goal.

Providence Head Coach Will Hander says it is a nice honor for those players, "These guys did a great job this season and I am really proud of the work they put in on and off the field. Tomeu worked extremely hard in the off season wanting to come in and be his best. Jesus was a great surprise in the way he raised his game from high school to college. I could not be prouder of these two."

The Argos finished the season 2-11-1 overall, 2-10-1 in CCC play.

Senior Danielle Chang was named to the Cascade Conference Women's 2nd team after scoring a team-high seven points this season. Chang scored three goals and played solid defense all fall. Head Coach Heather Blandford says Dani was well deserving of her latest accolade, "I couldn't be prouder of Dani Chang being recognized by the Cascade Collegiate Conference for her accomplishments this season. Dani led our team in both goals and points, but it was her ability to come through in clutch situations that helped our team make improvements from last year to this year. When Dani was dialed in and playing well, our team was dialed in and playing well. When we needed someone to make something happen, the team would look to her to get us going. This award is well deserved, and a great testament to the improvements the entire team is making from year to year."

The Providence women just missed a Cascade postseason berth with an overall record of 3-11-1 with a 3-8-1 mark in league action.
