Eight Argos Earn All-Conference Honors

HELENA, Mont. – The University of Providence volleyball program had eight members earn all-conference honors the Frontier Conference announced Wednesday night. Seniors Bella Thompson, Sadie Giles, Bella Green, juniors Kyra Saiers, Martyna Fiedler, and head coach Arunas Duda and assistant coach Sacha Simmons were recognized for their outstanding 2025 seasons. 

Head coach Arunas Duda on the all-conference honors stated, "This season has been truly special for Providence Volleyball. From the very start, this group committed to something bigger than themselves — putting in the work every single day and building an incredible bond along the way. Their love for each other and passion for the game has been the foundation of our success. I couldn't be prouder of what they've accomplished and can't wait to see what's still ahead for this team."

For the second consecutive season, Thompson was named the Frontier Conference Player of the Year, Frontier Conference Setter of the Year, and was a first team all-conference selection. Bella was the Frontier Conference setter of the week seven times this season and is #3 in the NAIA in assists per set with 11.26. Bella also set a new program record for the most career assists with 3,747 and counting.

Giles was named first team all-conference for the fourth time in her career. Sadie is second on the team in kills, second in digs, and fourth in blocks while playing all six spots.

Taylor was named to her second straight first team All-Conference after leading the Frontier Conference in blocks per set with 1.27. Cabry was also third on the team in kills averaging 2.32 per set while hitting .319.
Green was named first team All-Conference for the first time in her career after leading the Argos in kills with 221 while averaging 2.99 kills pet set and hitting .220.

Saiers is from Valley Springs, Calif. and was named to the second team after leading the Argos in digs with 5.5 digs per set in her first season at UP.

Fiedler is an outside hitter from Poznan, Poland and was named honorable mention All-Conference after finishing the regular season with the second most kills on the team and 14th in the Frontier Conference with 2.53 kills per set. 

Sacha Simmons was an All-American for the Argos and is the all-time record holder for digs and digs per set. Simmons, earning assistant coach of the year for the third time in four seasons stated, "It's truly an honor. Our conference is filled with incredible coaches and programs, which makes receiving this award even more meaningful. I'm so thankful to Coach Duda for being such an amazing mentor and example — I've learned so much from him. I also can't say enough about our girls; their effort, commitment, and love for the game make my job easy. I'm so proud of what we've done, and even more excited that we still have more to accomplish."

Head Coach Arunas Duda was named the Frontier Conference Head Coach of the Year after leading the team to a #1 NAIA Ranking and a second straight Frontier Conference regular season title. Duda is the program leader in wins and was inducted into the Argo Athletics Hall of Fame in October of 2024. Duda stated, "I'm incredibly honored to receive this recognition, especially in a year where the level of competition across our conference has been outstanding. This award truly belongs to our players and staff — their commitment, drive, and character have been the heart of our success. I'm so grateful to work with such an amazing group every day and proud of everything we've accomplished together."

The Argos are back in action Thursday, Nov. 13 when they face Montana Western in the quarterfinals of the Frontier Conference Tournament.
