CORVALLIS, Ore. – The University of Providence women's soccer program had three athletes earn all-conference recognition the Cascade Collegiate Conference announced Friday.
In the first year under head coach Lindsay Smith the Argos came up just short of a CCC Playoff berth and had three athletes in junior
Shea Waters, freshman
Te'a Knighton, and senior
Jennifer Alvillar earn CCC honorable mention all-conference. Smith stated, "All three of these players earned their All-Conference honors through consistency, competitiveness, and a relentless work ethic. They've each made a huge impact on our success this season, and this recognition is a reflection of their commitment to the team and to raising our standard every day."
Waters is a junior midfielder from Woodland Park, Colo. and started all 15 games the Argos played in 2025. Waters tallied four assists and eight shots on goal while being the center of the Argos offensive threat.
Knighton is a freshman defender from Phoenix, Ariz. and started all 11 games she appeared in in 2025. Te'a was the anchor for the Argos defensive line continuing to shut down offensive attacks and win balls out of the air. Â
Alvillar is a senior goalkeeper from Phoenix, Ariz. and totaled 105 saves while allowing 2.22 goals per game on average. Jennifer also tallied two shutouts for the Argos and one draw.
