Don was a teacher and a basketball and golf coach at C.M. Russell High School in Great Falls. Don led the CMR basketball team to state championships in 1975 and the undefeated 1977 season. Don took over the College of Great Falls program in 1979 and turned the Lady Argos into a Frontier Conference power. Cramer guided the program for six years and won three Frontier Conference championships, including a 18-9 record in 1980-81. A native of Forsyth, Mont., he received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Montana College. He married Margie and their three children are Curt, Sue Kellie and Connie. Cramer passed away in February 2019.
