A junior college transfer, the 6-3 Woodman led the Argo basketball team in scoring and rebounds as a guard in the 1975-76 season, finishing with 475 points and led the team in rebounds after switching to forward for the 1976-77 season. He was named Second Team All-Frontier Conference in 1975-76 and made the team again in 1976-77.
