A 6'0" guard, Randy was an all-around great talent who could score on top of being a floor general and excellent passer. Randy was also one of the best defenders in the conference during the '60s. Morrison transferred to CGF after one season at Montana State. He played for Coach Dodds at Great Falls High School before college. Randy went on to be a successful high school basketball coach at Big Timber High School and Billings Senior High School, leading both teams to state tournament appearances.
